Quest Compass

I worked again on the linear compass known from the 2018 E3 demo. I managed to bring a fully working quest compass, making it a true alternative to the minimap.

The performance of this compass is directly connected to the amount of pins shown in the compass and the range in which the pins are displayed. Both can be set in the ModSettings.

  Compatibility / known issues:

  • []Visibility can be set with Limited HUD. However, some users experience issues with the basegame_hud_minimap_scanner_tweak.archive of LHUD. Delete it or let Questcompass win over it.[/]

    Quest Compass does not show anymore?

    It can happen that the game messes this custom hud element up at some point. Than, the quest compass shows briefly and hides directly again. It has to do with the fact, that I have to hook into the Ironsight class I think. But anyway, there is a way to show the compass again.
