Preferred Pronouns

Dislike how Cyberpunk forces you to be referred to as he/him when choosing the masc voice or she/her when choosing the fem voice?

Well boy howdy partner, have I got a mod for you.

Sorry theys, we don't exist in this dystopian future.

With this mod you can now have a:

• [] Masc body, fem voice, masc pronouns, or

  [] Fem body, fem voice, masc pronouns, or

  [] Masc body, masc voice, fem pronouns, or

  [] Fem body, masc voice, fem pronouns.

  The mod will change what audio files are played, and what subtitles are shown for in-game, cinematics/media, and holocalls.

  Files

  Choose between two files:

  • []Fem Voiced V referred to as he/him (fem_voice_masc_pronouns)

    []Masc Voiced V referred to as she/her (masc_voice_fem_pronouns)

    You can find base game versions under Old Files.

    COMPATIBILITY

    This is entirely a localisation mod, and performs wide-scale replacement of files for English. While I have attempted to minimise the amount of files changed, this mod may be incompatible with any mod that modifies the same files.

    

    Compatible mods

    The following mods have been tested for compatibility:

    • Change V - Skippy's language - Multilingual NPCs - Fully Lip Synced

      NPC Native Language files should work, and NPCs will continue to use your preferred pronouns.

    INSTALLATION

    Only install one archive as they conflict with each other.

    Automatic

    You can install this mod by simply using Vortex or Mod Organiser 2.

    Manual

    Just as simply, you can drag and drop the chosen .archive file into <Cyberpunk 2077>/archive/pc/mod.

    Note: If the mod folder does not exist, create it.

    BUGS

    This mod is mostly auto-generated based on some imperfect rules, so there will be instances where this doesn't work especially while walking the streets.

    It is hard to know if a voice line is referring to V or someone else in the environment just from some file names, and subtitles.

    If you encounter issues, please report them.
