Why Adjust These Values?

[]Raising the maximum values and reducing the step count gives you more precise control over the DOF, allowing you to fine-tune it to avoid the usual pitfalls of the game's native DOF settings.

]The mod also reduces the minimum values to 0 and changes the focus distance scaling multiplier from 0. 2 to 0. 1, which allows for an even more extreme DOF effect than vanilla values, if you're into heavy blur.
