Night City Underground - Your Own Spotify Broadcast as a Native Radio Station with Reactive DJ and Convenient Controls

Your own broadcast, on the radioport, with an AI DJ who announces it.

Not an overlay. Not a music player bolted onto the HUD. An actual station on the dial, coming out of the car speakers, spatialised in the world like any station CDPR shipped.

Tune the radio to 107. 3 Night City Underground and whatever is playing on your PC is broadcasting there — in lossless FLAC — with a presenter called Sable who writes a fresh line for every track.

  SABLE

  A written presenter, not your typical text to speech narrator. Ex-corporate playlist writer, quiet and close to the mic, with an alluring whispery voice. She has a history and she writes new lines every time, from what Spotify actually knows about the track — the album, the year, the genre.

  "You remember the years we spent crafting the safe, soft sounds for the sleep cycle? Billie Eilish's Bad Guy from twenty nineteen is not that. It is a low hum that sits right behind your teeth, and it does not want your trust."

  "There is a specific kind of silence that fills a room at three in the morning, and you know the sound of it. This is Massive Attack, bringing you Teardrop from the album Mezzanine."

  Nine years writing on-air copy for a media conglomerate taught her exactly how a record gets under a person. That is the part that still bothers her.

  She speaks into the broadcast, not over it — so she ducks when the station ducks, and the music dips and lifts around her, all customizable in Settings. She will also decline a title in languages she cannot pronounce, gracefully, in character, rather than mangling it.

      []Spotify Premium — only for search, playlists and playback control. The radio itself works with any player.[/]

      Set aside about 40 minutes for the first install. It is a real setup, not a drag-and-drop, and READ_ME_FIRST.md walks you through every step. There is no way around the virtual audio cable — that is the price of the music being genuinely inside the game rather than layered on top of it.

      The AI DJ is optional and free. One signup, no credit card, about three minutes. Without it you get 57 handwritten lines in Sable's voice, which are genuinely listenable.

      HONEST LIMITATIONS

      • []2–4 seconds of stream latency. Unavoidable with a buffered broadcast, and nothing in the game depends on the timing.[/]

        []The radioport shows no track title — RadioExt cannot feed song names into that UI for stream stations. The on-screen announcement covers it.[/]

        []Start the bridge before you launch the game. RadioExt connects to the stream at load.[/]

        []Liked Songs plays a maximum of 500 tracks in one go.[/]
