📋 About This Mod
Note:
Sorry for all the updates .... the rooftops are just so 1/2 done
Make sure you remove every file from the previous versions before updating
COMBINED AIO version is the new supported version ... all edits included
LordTrilobite's Japantown North Penthouse Apartment ( https://www.nexusmods.com/cyberpunk2077/mods/26587 and Japantown North Verticality Expanded https://www.nexusmods.com/cyberpunk2077/mods/25441 are great mods so I made a compatibility version for them:
Compatibility Version: RooftopEnhancementCollisionCompatibilityAIOVersion: 11. 0
Version 7 removes a Japan style rooftop that was only 1/2 done by the devs and makes it landing friendly.
V8 ... fixed V7
V9 ... better Jtown collisions by Lord Trilobyte (Compat version only) (in Japantown North Verticality Expanded Core mod)
V11 ... more improvements
About the Mod:
This mod adds collision and cosmetic fixes to the tops of skyscrapers to support flying vehicle landing for Cyberpunk 2. 31.
This mod is now modular and all modules can be used together as desired:
1) Orbital Air Collision and Fixes Module: In the city core there is a series of buildings with truly horrific textures and no collision. This problem was addressed with a series of object deletions, and additions. This module is a little more heavy than the main mod but it occluded by the cityscape and won't be visible from the ground. No performance loss on my system. Another tradeoff is that when approaching these edits from the water direction from more than 2000 units away, the very low res LOD versions of the building I deleted will still be visible. I can easily remove this LOD object but that creates even more issues. Trade off ... horrid textures or distant LOD issues. This is why the mod is now modular as some of the new modules may not be desirable for some.
2) Heywood Rooftop Module: A small module to fix some rooftops without collision. A group of buildings in Heywood have such messed up vanilla occlusion that I left them untouched as the modding tools to fix this are no available yet
3) Westbrook Japan Rooftops Module: This is a bigger module that adds collision to many building rooftops in Westbrook and also completes them with the missing objects. Now with a compatibility version for Japantown North Penthouse Player Apartment: https://www.nexusmods.com/cyberpunk2077/mods/26587 Don't use both, and if you use the AIO version of Edit Night City Skyscraper Rooftop Collision (my mod) then use the compatibility version of the AIO.
Main Mod
This mod is designed to be as lightweight as feasible, and therefore does not touch the sides of the skyscrapers except for the top 1/10 where it adds collision and makes them prettier. None of the changes should load at ground level, but
A compatibility patch merging LordTrilobite's J North Penthouse Apartment and J North Verticality Expanded into a single AIO version, ensuring both mods work together without conflicts. For Cyberpunk 2077 players using both location mods who want a streamlined, compatible experience.
