Night City Estate Settings - Real Estate Property List

What this mod does

This isn't really a mod, just 2 files that contain settings for the mod "Night City Estate".

The new files replace the "closed door" locations in Night City Estate with more immersive locations that you can enter or interact with.

You will need to replace the 2 files or edit them with a text editor to get the locations of your choice.

The files to replace (or edit) are:

PosData.lua can be found in "\Cyberpunk 2077\bin\x64\plugins\cyber_engine_tweaks\mods\NCestate\data"

en-us.lua can be found in "\Cyberpunk 2077\bin\x64\plugins\cyber_engine_tweaks\mods\NCestate\localization"

Why I made this

I love the idea behind the "Night City Estate" mod.  V earns a lot of eddies in game, why not invest some of that in real estate to earn some income!

The thing I didn't like about the mod is that the default properties are almost all locked buildings that you can't enter or interact with.

Once I started looking for properties that could be entered or were more immersive, I was surprised by how many I found. There are buildings all over Night City that you can enter!

So, when the author didn't respond to my messages, I started looking into the mod to see if I could add locations myself. Happily the answer is YES!

The result is this mod, which is really just 2 settings files that you can download. You can use my files to add, edit, or replace your files to get new buildings added to your list of investable properties. The original mod is "Night City Estate" is required. My files are just custom settings for that mod.

To use my files do this:

Just replace your files with mine (make a backup first). Or edit your files with a text editor (notepad) to include the specific data you want to use from my files. It's up to you. My files have all the original locations removed and replaced with my locations.

If you do this mid-game it will wipe out your investments unless you ADD my locations by copy-paste into your files. If you study the file content, you'll figure it out like I did.
