📋 About This Mod
Tired of the boring crosshairs that CDPR added in for monowire in 2. 0?
Look no further!
This was a simple request on the WolvenKit discord server, Revamping the HUD design of 1. 6 and below Monowire.
This mod simply restores the Crosshair/UI of pre 2. 0 Monowire

Also Mod Manager friendly!
NOTE:
Charge percentage only works and shows when a quickhack is assigned to your monowire when you have the Relic perk unlocked.
DISREGARD: I've had close friends and testers of this tell me that the charge percentage works for them, but only when they have the Relic perk activated. I spent hours troubleshooting this on my end but couldn't even get the percentages to work for me, whatsoever. I hope they work for most people, I will continue to scour for conflicts and hopefully have this working for everyone, regardless of the perk being active.
DISREGARD: With the removal of the charge feature, the numbers to the left and right of the main crosshair do nothing. They don't charge.
I tried looking into this work with the monowire's heavy/charge attack and alas, nada.
I assume the tags that were associated with the charge animation were removed when this system was overhauled and thus, is dysfunctional now.
I consider myself very friendly but please, if you want to use my mods to create your own, have the decency to ask first before publishing and at the very least, maybe throw in some credit to my work. I do this in my free time to create mods I think other would appreciate and seeing my work copied and pasted is disheartening.
Restores the pre-2.0 monowire HUD/GUI in Cyberpunk 2077, bringing back the original interface for players who prefer the classic look. A niche UI fix with 40 endorsements and over 11k downloads, last updated in March 2024.
✨ Key Features
📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Brings back the classic monowire HUD for veterans who miss the pre-2.0 look.
- Decent download count (11k+) shows there's demand for this specific UI change.
- Simple concept—does exactly what it says without extra bloat.
⚠️ Cons
- Only 40 endorsements, so it's a niche mod with a small but dedicated following.
- Last updated in March 2024—may not be compatible with the latest game patches.
For Cyberpunk 2077 players who preferred the original monowire HUD before update 2.0 changed it. If you're a completionist or UI purist who wants that classic feel back, this is for you. Skip if you're fine with the current HUD or want more extensive UI overhauls.
💡 Beginner Tips
- Make sure to place the mod files in the correct Cyberpunk 2077 mod folder (usually 'archive/pc/mod').
- If you're using other UI mods, test for conflicts—this mod only affects the monowire HUD, so it should be compatible with most.
- Check the mod page for any updates if you're on the latest game version, as patches may break compatibility.
