If you are using an older version of RadioExt, you will want to download the "compatibility" version of this mod listed under the optional files instead of the main file. Thanks to Secondletter23 for figuring out the issue with the incompatibility. If you are on the current version of RadioExt, the main file should work perfectly fine. Lyx Radio is not a traditional radio station. It is an unauthorized broadcast — a hijacked signal looping the music of Lyx across Night City’s airwaves to promote the album DESIRE.exe.

There are no DJs, no advertisements, no commentary, and no interruptions of any kind. Just a continuous signal.

Built using RadioExt, Lyx Radio is designed to feel intentional, invasive, and lore-friendly — as if someone cracked the broadcast stack and walked away.

DESIGN NOTES

Lyx Radio is intentionally minimalist. The absence of DJs and interruptions is part of the illusion — this is not a curated station, but a hijacked signal running on loop.

There have been reports that the can remove other stations when installed. This appears to happen if you are using an older version of RadioExt. The newest version of RadioExt should work fine with this mod. I have uploaded a "compatibility" version of the mod under the Optional Files that should work if you are on an older version of RadioExt. Huge thanks to Secondletter23 for the help with troubleshooting the metadata file and figuring out the solution for the older Ext versions.
