Light Candle For Johnny

Adds mini-quest where you need to find or buy a candle and then light it near the tree at Longshore Stacks.

Installation

• []First download this mod and unzip to game folder

  []Then get required mods if you don't have them

  []Run the game

  Usage

  • []To activate the mod you don't need to do any actions, it will be enabled automatically

    []You need to have finished "The Damned" quest and talked to Johnny during it

    Save and exit the game and delete files "LightCandleForJohnny" from "archive\pc\mod" folder

    Reseting mod

    If you want to repeat the quest, use this:

    Game. GetQuestsSystem():SetFactStr("a3_light_candle_johnny_reset", 2)

    In case the quest become stuck, use this CET command to reset. Please, use it only as last option.

    Game. GetQuestsSystem():SetFactStr("a3_light_candle_johnny_reset", 1)

    Then repeat same steps like in "Usage".

    Developing background

    When I played The Damned quest and saw Johnny near the tree, I expected some dialog option to light a candle. So I was quite disappointed it was not true.

    So, I decided to make my own light candle mini quest. I didn't want to mix it with the vanilla quest, also due to possible future updates or bugfixes and also due to the fact some players already finished the The Damned quest and therefore had no way to replay it. That's why I added it as separate mini-quest.

    Also, in the middle of developing I got the idea of adding the paper with the text, which is I think much better than just a candle.

    The whole mod took me about 60 hours to finish it and test it.

    I'm pretty glad about this mod.
