Jubil-Vee Preset for ACU

JUBIL-VEE MINI-BIO

Jubil-Vee was born to wealthy parents who helped support her early talent as a gymnast. Unfortunately, she was orphaned as a teen when her parents ran afoul of a rogue corpo director at Kang Tao who had no compunctions about arranging off-the-book "accidents" for inconvenient whistleblowers. Afterwards, the details of her story growing into young adulthood became blurry, some of which stemmed directly from her own efforts to protect herself through intentional obfuscation.

In one account of herself, she left well-intentioned but incredibly dull foster parents in order to join a ragtag band of astonishing Nomads led by a wheelchair-bound mentor with a keen, probing mind. Another tale states that she survived as a Street Kid doing whatever side hustles she could pull off among street markets and dilapidated malls while staying one Rollerblade wheel ahead of the cops. Yet another story tells of her ambition to never again become a victim of corpo malfeasance--not by engaging in a Quixotic quest of tilting at windmills mistaken for dragons--but by trying instead to ride the dragon, that Corpo lifestyle where success means clawing and burning her way through other corpo monsters who'd dare get in her way.

For all the tumult of her past, she makes no bones about the little things that she likes in life. She feels unsettled watching vampire films, but can't seem to look away once she starts watching them--the abyss stares back. Another quirk reveals her to be an ardent "explosiphile" as gamer slang might describe her. Regarding the term, she is annoyed and perplexed that there seems to be no official psychological term for her obsession for when things go BOOM. Even more idiosyncratically, she loves thinking about "plasmoids"--the contemplation of which she finds thrilling yet somehow reassuring for reasons that remain a mystery to her.

And now being a merc has given her life renewed purpose and direction. For those that become her mission, pray that she doesn't target your back with an X, man!
