So, I love Sabbath's original mod of RE's Samurai Edge. But apart from a couple of minor tweaks it's basically a standard Unity.
This mod aims to make this weapon more unique and give it that Iconic flare it deserves!
The Samurai Edge will now gain perks and abilities each time you level up its tier, like in the RE series.
Stats:
- This weapon has a bit more oomph than the other one. To balance that out it has more recoil and it's fire rate gets upgraded less.
It's effective range is bigger and it gains Armor Penetration instead of Crits.
- Tier 3: +50% more headshot damage
- Tier 4: +50% Stun Rate, +50% headshot damage (and a fun little other perk that'll be visible)
- Tier 5 (Exclusive Upgrade): +100% headshot damage and +25% damage against elites and 40 base damage
- The suppressor has the stats of a XC-10 Cetus with +150% headshot damage, but no innate critical chance. It still has guarunteed crits on stealth -this may be a bit OP-
(Note that this is balanced around Very Hard, and I wanted this weapon to be in line with the other late game iconics)
Installation:
- Just like any other r6 and archive folder mods, just drag 'em over!
- NOTE: If you've had sabbath's original mod installed it will ask to overwrite the old files. For the changes to take effect you MUST respawn the weapon!
To obtain the weapon and the attachment:
Game. AddToInventory("Items. Samurai_Edge_AW01",1)
Game. AddToInventory("Items. Samurai_Edge_AW01_Suppressor",1)
