📋 About This Mod
Netrunning tweaks for the hardcore22v2 mod
HARDCORE22V2 mod has a very small 100HP base health pool, breaking netrunner builds by leaving quickhack damage far too high and conversely making overclock too costly and unviable. This mod balances INT perks, quickhack damage and cyberware to make them relatively fair and in line with the hardcore mod's power level experience.
Your first cyberdeck is cringe and literally any gun off the ground will work better. Non-combat quickhacks will have much more utility- particularly early in the game- and cheap combos (ie. contagion+overheat) won't initially one-shot enemies without some investment. However once you fill out a build, you'll be able to maintain an overclock loop and nuke enemies from orbit (albeit with careful management as you'll still be a glass cannon).
What the mod does
Balances skills and cyberware to make overclock useable:
-
[]Reduce Overclock skill's health cost to 3 health per RAM unit used (vanilla 10)[/]
[]Blood Daemon perk restores 5 health (vanilla 25)[/]
[]Power Surge perk restores health equal to max RAM (vanilla 5RAM)[/]
[]RAM Recoup Cyberware recovers ram equal to 0. 3 to 1. 5% of damage received (vanilla 0. 2 to 0. 3%)[/]
Makes monowire more viable
-
[]Siphon RAM recovery increased[/]

]Finisher: Live Wire restores greater % health and more RAM.melee is very hit-or-miss with HC22 health, and being locked into finisher animations can be more of a liability than anything. I buffed regen
to make it (and the relic monowire perks) more situationally useful.
Adjusts quickhack damage and RAM costs:
Cheap combat quickhacks and combos nerfed. This might not be to everyone's liking, but it necessitates using more build synergies, and makes them feel more rewarding.
Electrical damage stacking potential is still relatively high, to counter the very tanky mech encounters.
RAM costs balanced, mostly to fix the scaling of weak lower tier quickhacks.
compatibility
Compatible with Quickhack Fixes
Conflicts with Overclock Overheat.
Partial conflict with Quickhack Damage Fix
It fixes some other things, but overwrites this mod's synapse burnout damage tweaks.
to make it compatible, rename "QuickhackFix.yaml" to "#QuickhackFix.yaml". This puts it earlier in the load order and allows my synapse burnout values to overwrite it.
You would need to repeat the process if that mod is ever updated (very unlikely).
Note on compatibility with any of
