X49N - Great White Noise

A pirate signal from beyond the 49th

Overview

X49N is a fully custom RadioExt station for Cyberpunk 2077. It brings off-grid shortwave radio into Night City, carrying long-form underground techno sets, bunker mixes, and raw Cold War-style (you know, loosely) agitprop in both official languages.

Features

Adds several hours of music and about a minute's worth of bumpers and other commentary interspersed throughout.

• []Music: Underground techno (and related) ranging from 7-minute tracks to hour-plus live sets.

  []Agitprop: Short (~5s each), lore-appropriate bumpers in both languages, cutting into the crumbling NUSA regime and corpo rot.

The corpos say they own the airwaves, but X49N cuts through anyway. Broadcast from frozen Canadian towers patched together with scavenged parts, the signal cooks the ionosphere to bleed into Night City.

Installation

• []Requires RadioExt and any of its dependencies.

[]Install with Vortex or manually extract into your Cyberpunk 2077 root directory.

• []Files provided as FLAC.[]I tried to match the apparent loudness of vanilla stations such as Impulse and Ritual FM without crushing dynamics.[] My QC French isn't great, so if any native speakers feel inclined to edit the franco bumper scripts, dm me.
