📋 About This Mod

Faction and Distrcit Combat Music is a Cyberpunk 2077 mod that adds 8 custom combat tracks for each faction and district in CP2077, replacing the base games 12 combat tracks with 216 curated tracks for over 15 hours of new music. You can

NOTE: This mod does not contain any copyrighted music. All music tracks are generated by Suno.

The download contains two files - districts and factions.  Both files are standalone — install either or both.  Installing both will show a file conflict on NCCombatMusic.reds. Both copies are identical, so let either one win.

Faction and District Combat Music replaces Cyberpunk 2077's open-world combat music with a dynamic music system built around gangs, districts, police encounters, and a shared fallback pool.

When combat begins, the mod chooses music using this priority:

1. NCPD music during an active police chase.

2. Music for the faction of the nearest eligible enemy.

3. Music for the district where the player is fighting.

4. The shared default music pool.

5. Any available music bucket if the selected bucket is empty.

The selected track loops while combat continues and fades out when combat ends.

The mod ignores civilians, crowds, friendly NPCs, companions, defeated enemies, and dead enemies when determining the nearby enemy faction.

If no custom music is installed, the mod restores vanilla combat music instead of leaving combat silent.

Faction and District Combat Music affects open-world combat music. Quest, mission, street-story, cyberpsycho, and other scripted music remains under the control of the game.

The video shows a brief preview so you can get an idea of each music style. Each faction and district has 8 unique combat tracks in the style of the preview clip.

The mod includes eight tracks for each music category. The tracks were created by Suno and so are free to use and redistribute under non-commercial license, but they cannot be used for any commerical purposes. The tracks were carefully curated for each faction and district, but again, if you don't like them it's very easy to change them to anything you prefer.

Requirements:

The following are hard requirements:

- Cyberpunk 2077

- redscript

- Audioware

Install all requirements before installing Faction and District Combat Music

Manual Installation:

1. Install redscript, Audioware, and Codeware.

2. Extract the contents of the NC Combat Music archive into your Cyberpunk 2077 installation folder.

3. Merge the included `r6` folder with the game's existing `r6` folder.

The final paths should look like this:

Cyberpunk 2077

├── audioware

│  └── NCCombatMusic

│      ├── audios.yml

│      ├── default

│      ├── districts

│      └── gangs

└── scripts

└── NCCombatMusic

└── NCCombatMusic.reds

The `r6` folder must be placed directly in the Cyberpunk 2077 game directory.

Vortex Installation:

1. Install redscript, Audioware, and Codeware first.

2. Open Vortex and select Cyberpunk 2077.

3. Open the Mods section.

4. Choose Install From File.

6. Enable the mod.

7. Deploy the mod.

8. Check the installed file preview and make sure `r6` is at the mod root, not buried inside an extra nested folder.

Mod Organizer 2 Installation:
