I know, chooom. I know. I didn't effin believe it, either. Its too far out there, like that vampire nomads from alpha centauri type nonsense the street preacher goes on about. Here's the real sitch tho - I managed to "acquire" an advanced prototype from one o' them classified projects. Some real borged out ex-military chooms of mine damn near flatlined fighting their way out of a convoy they hit and klepped it from, before MaxTac dropped on their heads. Corpos chalked up a big donut on that scoreboard, though. Problem is, they caught up to my chooms and took 'em out right after they stashed it with me.

Long story short, I wanna offload this thing before I get turned into a smear or a fine red mist, yeah? You look like the type who could really use it. What is it? Chooom...

Its almost a handheld artillery piece. Well, ok, maybe not THAT nasty, but its a damned one-handed Cannon for sure. By the look of it, they had someone specific in mind for its field testing. Kind of flashy, if you ask me, but not to say it ain't got some style. I dunno how, but it looks like they took some of that unwieldy soviet caveman tech and refined the bejeezus out of it before upgrading damn near every part of it.

I know a thing or two about a thing or two, and I'd suspect they had one o' them shackled AIs do the material and design analysis to take its most useful bits and blend 'em with a more elegant and reliable tech base. It handles better, shoots better, hits harder, and it looks like if you know a preem weaponsmith, you could even integrate a smart barrel, and use smart-ammo to delete hostile craniums in rapid succession with this beauty here. Who knows what else an innovative and enterprising gun-tech wiz could do to trick it out?

Just so you know, she came from a secure encrypted lockbox with the codename "EX-Calibur" painted on it. Sounds like a fancy project codename to me.
