Speculative fix for the players using "Feedback Loop" and "Sublimation" perks and having problems with:
-
[]having RAM degen instead of regen (feedback loop perk only active)
[
]having health degen instead of regen (sublimation, or sublimation and feedback loop perks active)Vanilla perk modifies RAM regen multiplier, which can break in very bad ways more often than not.
Now Feedback Loop will reward RAM equal to 30% of your total queued hacks, each time you add a hack to a queue.
This may be better or worse than what vanilla tried to do, but it least it shouldn't kill you, or leave you with zero RAM.
It is not perfect, as the total queue count stat isn't super reliable, and seems to be why Feedback loop is so busted in the first place.
Nerds can go read the stickied post if they want to know all the details.
-
[]You upload 2 hacks to a target. Your queue size is 1. Feedback loop grants (1 0. 3) = 0. 30 RAM
[]You upload 3 hacks to a target. Your queue size is 2. Feedback loop grants (2 0. 3) + (1 0. 3) = 0. 90 RAM
[]Upload 4 hacks to a target. Your queue size is 3. Feedback loop grants (3 0. 3) + (2 0. 3) + (1 0. 3) = 1. 80 RAM
[]Upload 3 hacks to 2 targets. Your queue size is 4. Feedback loop grants (4 0. 3) + (3 0. 3) + (2 0. 3) + (1 0. 3) = 3. 00 RAM
Tested in a small controlled scenario where I was able to create large amounts of queued uploads.
Please let me know if you continue to have the icky bug with this fix installed, or if you experience new issues as a result of these tweaks!
Compatibility:
Not compatible with any mod that changes Feedback Loop perk. This is a quick and hacky bugfix, nothing more.
