📋 About This Mod
A simple mod that disabled most visual damage on (most) player cars.
This is my first mod I have made for this game so expect some imperfections.
Credits (already have them on the mod page but I'll put them here for good measure):
- ctxrlsec - for their BMW M3 GTR mod which has the tweak I was looking for to make this mod (destruction: None).
- CET Console Command Spreadsheet - for having most of the vehicle names of all of the player vehicles.
Known issues:
- The head lights and tail lights can still shut off after being shot at, I have no idea if I can fix this or not.
- The holographic flames on the Quadra Type-66 "Charon" do not appear when going over 50 MPH as intended. I did do some tinkering and found out that the flames only appear when a certain amount of destructible things are on the car. AFAIK there's no way to fake the flames on the car or fake the destructible elements on the car.
- Some people have been reporting CTDs when loading up the game. I am not sure what causes this however I am going to look into it. My best guess is that if this happens to you, either you didn't install this mod or its dependencies right or you may have a corrupted game install. Other than that I have no clue.
- (FIXED IN v1. 1) 3 vehicles are not affected by the mod despite the fact they are mentioned in the mod. The unaffected cars are the
Villefort Deleon "Vindicator", the Alvarado V4FH 570 Herman and the
Thorton Mackinaw "Saguaro".
