DEPRECATED-FOR 2.13 AND OLDER -- Projectile Launch System Missing Fingernails Fix (Fem V)

CDPR Officially fixed with version 2. 2. This fix is for 2. 13 and prior.

There may be a new bug with 2. 2 where switching cyberarms causes the nails to disappear in 1st person. Re-saving your appearance after changing cyberarms seems to solve the issue without requiring a mod.

This is a simple fix for Female V's Projectile Launch System not having fingernails in the inventory screen, mirrors, and photomode.

As far as I can tell by looking at the files, this bug should only affect characters who were created or had their appearance edited with Phantom Liberty installed. The bug exists only in the Phantom Liberty version of the file that contains the definitions that are referenced during character creation/edit, not the basegame one. For some reason, the PL version of the file doesn't include the fingernails as part of the the launcher tpp holstered arms Group.

Since it overrides a file in ep1, I'm not entirely sure what happens if you try to load it without Phantom Liberty, but I'm pretty sure basegame players won't need it anyways, as the bug isn't in the basegame version of the file. Please tell me if this isn't the case and I can try to look into it more.

INSTALLATION:

Extract the zip to your Cyberpunk 2077 installation folder, or place the .archive file in ./Cyberpunk 2077/archive/pc/mod

The bug gets written to your save's appearance data and won't be corrected until you do. Simply selecting the change appearance option and then hitting Confirm (not cancel) is sufficient, you don't need to change anything.

COMPATIBILITY:

Since this doesn't touch any model information, it should be compatible with most custom arm models/cyberware (though it may cause issues if the modder built their mod under the assumption the fingernails won't load with the PLS.) It may be incompatible with mods that add new options to the Character Appearance menu.

If CDPR adds or changes any character customization features in a future update, it is possible this mod will break/not work with those features and will need updated. Hopefully, though, they will fix this at the same time. In any event, if an update adds new character customization, you should probably uninstall this mod. Tested working as of Update 2. 13.
