📋 About This Mod
This mod dynamically adjusts the upload speed of quickhacks; when V uploads a quickhack from a long distance, upload speed will be very slow. Likewise, when V is close to the target the upload speed will be very fast.
Additionally, getting traced works similarly, the further V is from the target when a quickhack is uploaded the longer it takes for the reveal position daemon to complete, while uploading quickhacks close to the enemy V will be traced much quicker.
There are 3 different versions available:
"Datalink Transmission Tether" is the standard version
"Datalink Transmission Tether - Bad Signal" has a more random distance-based upload speed.
"Datalink Transmission Tether - Hardcore" has a very slow combat quickhack upload speed. (See sticky post in the Discussions tab for more information.)

My other distance based quickhack mod makes quickhacks cost less RAM as you get further away from the target. With the 2 mods together the game simulates a dynamic wireless connection for hacking; uploading from far away has a worse (slower) connection but uses less RAM and vice-versa.

Compliments this one well, since V can get revealed quickly at close range it's useful to be able to pick on targets that can't initiate a trace
