CyberToasted - CET Toast Notifications

Main Features For Modders:

• []Includes a simple-to-use API with 2 exposed functions that you can use to show/hide your notifications.

  []Toast notifications support displaying any text (or glyph icons), as long as it can fit within the available window space (the notification window is not resizable at all, but the size scales linearly with different screen resolutions so no worries about whether it will fit properly at different resolutions).

  []When calling the function to show a toast, you will set a max duration for it. This can be overrode by the user's settings or you can call the function to hide the toast at any time.

  []Handles queuing notifications for you (and other mods) to avoid displaying multiple notifications at once from multiple mods/events.

  []There is a readme file (in the mod's install folder) with instructions on how to use this in your mods. Please be sure to test your notifications before updating/publishing a mod to include them (and let me know if you run into any issues so I can try to resolve them).

  []NOTE: Please don't trigger notifications for common game/CET events, such as the player spawning/dying or mods initializing. If too many people trigger them it's going to spam the users with notifications and they won't like that. This should be used more to indicate to the player that they are missing a mod requirement or that a keybind event has been toggled, etc.

  Features For Mod Users (In The Mod's "Settings" Window):

  • []Adjustable max duration of toast notifications (will override the durations setup by the mod author).

    []Adjustable max toast queue size (limit the amount of notifications that can be triggered while another is active).

    []Can view the notification history for the current game session.

    []Can block any notifications you do not wish to see again (from the notification history). These can also be unblocked after blocking them.

  • You can reposition the notification window any time it is visible by opening CET overlay and dragging it to the your preferred position. To avoid the window closing before you get it positioned, I suggest to use the button in the settings window to show the sample notification and move it around instead of trying to move another mod's notification. The sample window will stay up for however long you have your maximum duration set to (so up to 15 seconds, which should be plenty of time to reposition).
