📋 About This Mod

WHAT'S NEW (UPDATES)

  • []August 30th, 2024: Fixed item icon for missing street shoes. Added the crop top we see Street Kid V wearing in the prologue.

You could just use the console commands to give yourself the Lifepath clothes from another Lifepath, but personally, I could never get over how out-of-place some of those item cards would look on certain Lifepaths. And honestly, this was just an excuse to play around with ArchiveXL and Virtual Atelier. I finally learned how to make gender-specific item icons thanks to manavortex's wiki tutorials and this was the mod I tested it on.

I've also always had an idea for a Virtual Atelier "store" page filled with all the items I always thought V should have had lying in storage somewhere from the start of the game. Looking at the clothes and items V already starts off with in their H10 apartment, I always thought V had to have a lot more personal items floating around out there from their past somewhere. It's hard to think that someone who left home for Atlantic City across the country, spent their adult life roaming the highways as a Nomad, or spent two years (at the least) working for one of the world's largest megacorporations didn't have souvenirs and clutter building up over years and years just like the rest of us.

This mod makes alternate versions of some of the items from the other Lifepaths you can't normally get all on one character. There's also one set of shoes you can see Male V wearing in Lifepath outfits / cutscenes that doesn't exist in the actual game, so I rearranged some of the male / female variants to work that into the rotation. I'm not including the Arasaka Corpo suit because that's the one set of items that seems totally out of place to me on other Lifepath characters. I also didn't touch any of the items that you can already buy as alternate base game items (like a lot of the shirts and pants). Those are included in the Virtual Atelier page and this mod was made alongside that mod.

    DONATIONS GREATLY APPRECIATED

I just set this all up a minute ago. It all feels very awkward. If you like my content, donations would be greatly appreciated. If not, I understand. This is just a free-time hobby.

  • Includes the black and white shoes that were apparently missing from other options.
