📋 About This Mod
I tried to revive the linear compass from the early days.
This mod displays a compass bar at the top of the screen and provides a CET window to adjust some settings, such as font, color, size, opacity and format type. With the settings, the compass can also be placed at the bottom of the screen, below the minimap, above the health bar or wherever you like. The widget can be turned on and off via CET hotkey and via Native Menu, Interface section.
Information/Known issues:
-
[]I could not implement quest icons and suchhere, but I was able to do it in my other compass mod: Quest Compass.

]Version 2. 0 is a complete rewrite and should now properly hide along with the native hud element, for states like, scanning, shard reading, braindance, ...[]Limited HUD, thanks to djkovrik. You'll find the setting in the LHUD menu.

[]Fully compatible with Project E3 - HUD - Tweaks.
[]Native Stetting Integration, a toggle button can be found in Interface section with all the other HUD elements.

✨ Key Features
📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Does exactly what it says: brings back the linear compass for old-school HUD lovers.
- Lightweight and focused—no extra clutter, just the compass.
- Decent traction for a niche UI mod (62 endorsements, 5.4k downloads).
⚠️ Cons
- Only 62 endorsements—might be a smaller community, but it's still getting downloads.
- No screenshots or detailed description, so you're flying blind on what it looks like in-game.
- No compatibility notes—could conflict with other UI overhauls, so test carefully.
For players who miss the classic linear compass and want a straightforward UI tweak. Skip if you're happy with the default compass or want a full UI overhaul—this is a single-purpose mod.
