Clairvoyance

If you're like me, you are like that Aerosmith song from Armageddon: You don't want to miss a thing. Well, now there's a fix for that.

With this mod, everything you want to know about will get tagged around you so you can flex your extra-sensory perception and be completely aware of your surroundings. (Basically, the game will tag objects of the type(s) you want so you can see them through walls.)

I've included all the things I wanted to tag myself, as well as a couple extra categories in case you find them useful. I may be able to add more settings/categories on request.

How to use:

This mod requires redscript. In addition, unless you want to run with the default settings, then you also need Mod Settings. Mod Settings itself requires ArchiveXL and RED4ext.

Once all that's installed, go into Mod Settings and adjust your settings.

Performance:

First is the Enable Mod by Default setting - this is what the mod will revert to every time you load a save or adjust anything in Mod Settings. It's...enabled by default. Go fig.

For additional on-the-fly control, you can toggle the mod by double-tapping your scanner button (default key is Tab). If you don't want to toggle the mod this way, and want to prevent accidental doubletaps, you can turn off the ability to double-tap-toggle the mod in the settings. This will 'lock' the mod to the state selected in the previous setting. The double-tap-to-toggle setting defaults to enabled.

If you enable the Manual Tagging setting, then any tagging or untagging that isn't done by Clairvoyance will make Clairvoyance ignore that object (until you get far enough away from it that the game reloads it). This setting defaults to disabled since you usually shouldn't need it.

Also added two settings to help increase the speed of tagging as much as possible without affecting your performance:

ADVANCED: Minimum Batch Size - The higher this number, the faster and more instant tagging will be, but it's possible it may be too much for your system. Set this number to the highest which does not result in performance issues, or, leave it at the default and worry about the next setting instead:

ADVANCED: Target (real) FPS - What fps you don't want to go below because of this mod. If your fps goes below this number, the mod will take it easy (and reduce the speed of tagging) to try to get some of your fps back (although it won't reduce the batch size below the minimum you've set).
