📋 About This Mod
Updated for game v2. 1
Ingame you can distinguish an access point even during the day and from afar.
As you can see from the screenshot, the icon has been slightly modified inside the hexagon, to space out the internal elements.
I always wanted to have different colored icons for each of the hackable objects (cameras, turrets, machines and others) but the icon is always the same except that one of the access points, so I decided to change it to be able to distinguish with a glance at least those from the others.
I tried different colors, but the only one that makes the icon more visible is the bright yellow, which with the red mask applied by the game to the texture turns into a bright orange.
The mod does not require any dependencies.
The mod is NOT compatible with other ".archive" mods that replace icons texture of minimap, map, items pickup, dialogue icons.
The mod IS compatible with icons mods that uses Cyber Engine Tweaks.

✨ Key Features
📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Does exactly what it says: makes the icon pop so you don't miss it
- Tiny download, no bloat, just a quick visual fix
- Decent community support (110 endorsements) for such a niche tweak
⚠️ Cons
- Only affects the icon during quick scan—no other UI improvements
- Last updated in 2023, so might not be tested with the latest game patches
- No screenshots or detailed instructions in the description, so you're flying blind until you try it
For players who frequently miss access points during quick scans and want a clearer visual cue. Skip if you're looking for broader UI overhauls or gameplay changes—this is purely cosmetic.
💡 Beginner Tips
- If you're using a mod manager, just drop the file in and enable it—no extra steps needed.
- Test it in a quick scan mission to see if the increased visibility suits your preference.
- Since it's a simple visual mod, it should work with most setups, but always check for updates after game patches.
