AVX Bypass

As of Version 1. 05 this fix will no longer be required.

Cyberpunk 2077 Version 1. 05 Patch Notes:

• "Removed the use of AVX instruction set thus fixing crashes occurring at the end of the Prologue on processors not supporting AVX."

Cyberpunk 2077 Version 1. 04

Just a simple hex edit to bypass the AXV instructions check that causes Cyberpunk 2077 to crash on some machines.

This change allows the game to run on older CPUs (Pre-2011) that are missing the Advanced Vector Extensions.

Instructions:

Open your Cyberpunk 2077 folder.

Backup Cyberpunk2077.exe

Rename this file to Cyberpunk2077.exe

Was getting very frustrated for the game being unplayable due to the AVX crash, and was happy to find the original AVX Fix posted on Nexus.

Then 1. 04 rolled around and made that fix obsolete at the time, so I looked into doing it myself. And since it worked, I figured I'd post it for anyone else who has the issue who may not be inclined to hex edit it themselves.

Hopefully it helps others to be able to jump back in game with less of a headache. Happy gaming.
