📋 About This Mod
This is a mod that I made for myself that I have decided to upload here so others can give it a try if they want! Just keep in mind this is still a work in progress!
IMPORTANT - These are REDMODS
Update 1. 1
Fixed issue with vehicle NPC's not always reacting to you aiming at them or hitting their vehicles
Slightly decreased the chance NPC's will exit and flee their vehicle instead of trying to run
NPC's that exit a vehicle now run away much more reliably instead of just standing next to their car
Increased the variation in traffic speeds and the balance of slow/medium/fast drivers
Further improvements to panic driving (they are still pretty wreckless)
Slightly lowered the number of NCPD spawned in world when your not wanted
Increased the 'engagement' rings sizes by about 5-10 meters so that AI combat in open spaces generally favors longer distance so they can find cover, instead of them just standing on the road in the open shooting each other (still happens though, just less likely now)
Removed some experimental settings from the INI files I think were making the traffic stop erratically
Further decoupled the reaction system from the player. Theres only a handful of bits left I haven't figured a way to remove the player now
Crowd NPC's
Altered the likelihood of NPC's carrying items such as phones, tablets, bags etc
Relaxed the requirements for Crowds NPCs to become aggressive so that certain situations will make them hostile to the player (or other NPCs)
Altered pathfinding and movement parameters to make them move in a more fluid and dense manner
Increased the range at which they can stay active while you are wanted and increased the number of allowed NPC's that can be used by the prevention system
Road blocks can be setup further away and there can be more of them, and they stay for longer while you are wanted
Increased the number of wondering NCPD officers and Police cars in traffic
Increased the speed at which vehicles travel on the road (traffic jams are still traffic jams!)
Panic Driving now attempts to avoid NPC's, the Player, Static objects and vehicles instead of just barrelling through everything like its not there
Vehicles can be driven Slow, Normal or Fast by NPC's
NPC's in vehicles when combat occurs are more likely to get out of the car and run, instead of panic driving to prevent crazy escalations where panic drivers cause scenes which causes more panic drivers which causes more scenes etc etc
Increased the desired combat distance so that when an NPC is searching for cover they are more likely to select a cover point that is not close to the enemies
Relaxed the requirements for NPC's that are affiliated to each other will help friendlies in need and allowed

✨ Key Features
📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Decent community traction with 209 endorsements and 13k downloads.
- Targets a specific gameplay niche—NPC behavior—which is often overlooked.
- Actively maintained, last updated June 2024.
⚠️ Cons
- Description is vague—no details on how exactly NPCs change or what's tweaked.
- Potential compatibility issues with other gameplay overhaul mods (not specified).
- Small mod with limited scope; may not satisfy players wanting major overhauls.
For Cyberpunk 2077 players who want a more reactive and chaotic Night City without installing a full overhaul. If you're tired of static NPCs and want faster traffic and snappier combat reactions, this is worth a shot. Skip if you prefer a more grounded, realistic world or if you're already using a comprehensive AI mod.
💡 Beginner Tips
- Check if you have other AI or traffic mods installed—they might conflict.
- Start a new save or load a clean save to avoid script lag.
- Test in different districts to see the full effect on traffic and combat.
