📋 About This Mod

This is a really basic, low-effort mod I made a couple of months ago and have been using for myself, but now I was bored enough to polish it up to share with others.

While a lot of mods nowadays use Virtual Atelier or other more "immersive" methods of adding things, there still pops up a new clothing item here and there that still uses Game. AddToInventory commands, so this is useful for that.

Basically, instead of writing/copy/pasting console commands to add items to your inventory you put the item codes in txt files and then you can add them from the CET Overlay. Ideally mod authors would supply a txt file you can just drop in the mod folder and it'll show up. Look at the stickied post to see the format of these txt files (it's very simple, you can do them in notepad.exe).

Use it if you want, or not. I find it more convenient atleast :) Especially when starting a new character, so you don't have to go look up the mod pages/readme files again to find the item codes. Also see here a great idea a user had about making a shortcut on your desktop to a txt file that you just add new items to!

🤖 AI-enhanced — based on mod data

This utility mod lets you add items to your game by clicking instead of typing console commands. It simplifies item spawning for players who find copy/pasting commands tedious. With 541 endorsements and nearly 18,000 downloads, it's a popular convenience tool for modders and testers.

📊 Pros & Cons

✅ Pros

  • Saves time and hassle—no more alt-tabbing to copy commands
  • Community-approved with 541 endorsements and nearly 18k downloads
  • Simple concept that does exactly what it says

⚠️ Cons

  • Last updated in 2022—might not work with the latest game patches
  • Only useful for players who frequently spawn items; others may not need it
🎯 Is This For You?
For modders and testers who constantly spawn items and want a faster way to do it. Also for players who struggle with console commands and prefer a click-based interface. Skip if you rarely use console commands or prefer the traditional method.
