Spare the Bloodline protects you and the men of your dynasty while removing other men from the world. Preserve sons, brothers, and future male rulers as your family becomes uniquely important to the future.

Spare the Chosen protects only the player character. Begin as the last man alive, build your dynasty, raise daughters.

If you play with an immortal ruler setup, your male ruler can remain as the world’s sole surviving man across countless generations, building a vast dynasty and watching a civilization of women grow around him.

In a mortal campaign, you can instead raise daughters and continue through the generations that follow.

Cull All Males offers the complete World of Women experience. No protected men and no exceptions. The world’s future belongs entirely to women.

Features Included in AWOW

• Flexible culling game rules: Remove all male characters, protect only your player character, or spare the men of your player dynasty.

• Separate birth gender controls: Set different female birth rates for the world, the player dynasty, and the player’s own children, all with their own separate game rule setting.

• Automatic same-sex marriage matchmaking and pregnancy support for the whole world : AWOW arranges female couples to marry, have children, and carry their houses into future generations.

• Optional world effects: make all adults Lustful and/or Fecund and keep AI character weights near a neutral range.

• In-game control: adjust culling frequency, mute recurring notifications, and protect individual characters when needed.

Any-Gender Parenthook (AGP)

A World of Women CORE requires Any-Gender Parenthook to support same-sex pregnancies. In a world populated almost entirely by women, ordinary CK3 reproduction cannot sustain most families. Without offspring, houses would disappear, dynasties would collapse, and the world would gradually run out of meaningful succession.

AWOW creates the relationships and pregnancy gameplay while AGP provides the underlying support CK3 needs to correctly recognize gender independent parents, family connections, and pregnancy carriers. Together, they allow female couples to produce children and keep the world alive across generations.

AGP does not create pregnancies by itself, it provides the foundation that lets AWOW’s pregnancy system work correctly.

AWOW Add-ons and Utilities

AWOW offers three optional tools for controlling the men who already exist or are generated after the campaign begins. Do not enable all three together. Choose one setup: VHO, VMSO, VHO + VMSO, or UFG (UFG Recommended).

Which Add-ons Should I Use?

• VHO only: female vanilla starting history, but runtime male generation continues.

• VMSO only: reduces vanilla scripted male generation, but leaves the initial history unchanged and still misses many men.

• VHO + VMSO: the broadest script-only setup, with the highest incompatibility with other mods and still incomplete coverage.

• UFG: replaces both packages, covers starting history and supported runtime generation, and offers vastly better mod compatibility. This is the recommended option.

Do not enable VHO/VMSO while using UFG.

AWOW: Vanilla History Overrides (VHO)

VHO changes the campaign’s starting population. It replaces CK3’s vanilla character history files with converted versions in which historical characters are all female.

This gives you a female starting world immediately instead of waiting for CORE’s culling to remove the initial men.

The compatibility cost is somewhat big. VHO replaces the vanilla starting character database, so it will not be compatible with mods or overhauls that add, remove, or modify the characters present at game start. If another mod changes history, VHO cannot preserve those changes.
