OVERVIEW

DesertLink True Flight adds fully controllable free flight to Crimson Desert.

Flight is activated manually while you are airborne.

Press F on keyboard or LB on controller to turn flight on or off.

Once active, you can hover, climb, descend, boost forward and move through the world with much more freedom than the normal gliding system allows.

The mod also handles shutdown automatically.

Flight turns itself off when:

  This means you control when flight begins, while the mod makes sure it stops cleanly when normal movement resumes.

    HOW TO USE

    1. Jump or open your glider to get into the air.

    Keyboard: F

    Controller: LB

    to enable flight.

    3. You will begin hovering and can use the movement controls below.

    4. Press F or LB again to disable flight manually.

    You can also simply close the glider or land, and True Flight will switch itself off automatically.

    Important:

    Pressing the flight toggle while you are already in normal free-fall does nothing.

    This prevents the mod from forcing the character into a frozen mid-air state.

    CONTROLS

    FLIGHT BEHAVIOR

    True Flight is designed to stay out of the way when you are not using it.

    • []Normal jumping is unaffected[/]

      []Flight must be enabled manually while airborne[/]

      []Pressing LB/F while free-falling does nothing[/]

      []After cancelling with Space/X, flight stays off until you enable it again[/]

      []Landing always disables flight automatically[/]

      []Closing the glider and entering normal free-fall disables flight automatically[/]

      LIVE CONFIGURATION

      True Flight includes:

      DesertLinkTrueFlight.ini

      The configuration can be edited in Notepad while the game is running.

      Changes are applied live. No restart needed!! <3

      HoverGravity

      Controls how quickly you descend while hovering.

      0. 00 = remain level

      0. 15 = slow descent

      Higher values = faster descent

      Strength

      Controls the strength of the forward boost.

      MaxThrust

      Controls the maximum speed the forward boost can reach.

      SpeedScale

      Controls the overall movement speed of the flight system.

      CUSTOM CONTROLS

      Keyboard and controller bindings can be changed directly in the INI.
