A bigger bag from the start

Start with all 40 standard bag slots usable. Sam's existing upgrades then increase the total:

The mod does not change Sam's upgrade prices.

Four times the chest space

Storage chests receive four times their template capacity. A 20-slot chest becomes 80 slots; a 40-slot chest becomes 160 slots. Chests already larger than that are preserved.

Reach every slot

The Toolbelt & Backpack page keeps the toolbelt fixed while the backpack scrolls vertically. Both inventory panels in the chest interface scroll to reach additional rows.

Shop and upgrade from storage

Materials in player-owned home chests count toward blacksmith and beach-shack tool upgrades, carpenter building purchases, and house upgrades. The game uses items from your bag first, then continues across eligible chests and stacks. Requirement counters include the combined quantity and show how many are available in storage. (Though pease note that I have only tested this on blacksmith, carpenter and sammy's shop so I do not yet know if this update works on Lin's or the Oracle upgrade stores as for yet as I have not unlocked them on my new test save.)

Requirements

Windows Steam Coral Island build 1. 3-1249 and a working UE4SS installation.

UE4SS - Coral Island

This is a native UE4SS mod, not a PAK. Unsupported executables are detected and the mod disables itself.

UE4SS and Coral Bliss are installed separately; this ZIP does not bundle or replace either runtime.

Installation with Vortex

Install the main ZIP using Coral Island UE4SS support, then enable and deploy. Its mod type should be UE4SS / Lua Mods. Keep only one version of Storage Expanded enabled.

The installed DLL belongs at:

ProjectCoral\Binaries\Win64\Mods\StorageExpanded\dlls\main.dll

Manual installation

Close the game and extract the main ZIP into Coral Island\ProjectCoral\Binaries\Win64, merging the Mods folder.

Coral Bliss compatibility

Tested alongside Coral Bliss 1. 7. 5 using its bundled runtime. Coral Bliss is optional. If you use it, keep its required loader.

For the advertised capacities, use these Coral Bliss settings:

Overlapping inventory-capacity settings or other storage mods may change the result.

Existing saves and updating

Vanilla bag upgrades at 20, 30 and 40 slots migrate to 80, 120 and 160. Version 1. 0. 1 saves a marker so the new 40-slot starter stays at 40 after reloading.

The early 1. 0. 0 build did not save that marker. An unmarked 40-slot save is treated as a fully upgraded vanilla bag; this also affects starter bags saved by that early build.

Back up your save before changing storage mods. Before uninstalling, move items out of added slots. Removing the mod can make extra items inaccessible; keep a pre-mod backup if you want to return to vanilla capacity.

Tested locally

A development test filled all 160 bag slots and 160 chest slots. Every slot retained the same item and quantity at the same index after saving and reloading. Scrolling and all slot mappings were checked. An older save's fully upgraded bag correctly expanded to 160.

Screenshots show a deliberately filled test save. The released mod does not spawn items or grant gold, and no test saves or development commands are included.

Multiplayer and other platforms have not been validated.
