Abra De Ilog Passage, 2028

The Philippines has faced a number of insurgencies during its history. A new insurgency, organized by communist rebels, erupted last year. It has taken a page from the playbook of other militant groups and is attempting to put pressure on the Philippine government by threatening merchant shipping at various choke points. As Commander of the Philippine Navy's Southern Luzon Operational Command (NAVFORSOL), you are responsible for an ongoing mission to eliminate insurgent forces on the island of Mindoro and to make sure merchant vessels arrive safely at Abra de Ilog and other ports. ------------------------------------------------------- Scenario Author: Mark Gellis
