The Indo Pacific and Taiwan: Military Balance 2022

Last update Sept. 7/ 22. What if the Indo-Pacific countries engaged China to prevent an invasion / reunification of Taiwan? Indo-Pacific and Chinese PLA order of battle near Taiwan, non-nuclear only. For creating scenarios, not playable. Focus is on major air and navy units close to Taiwan, squadron unit numbers on all aircraft to verify accuracy. Indo-Pacific countries air force / navy rotational deployments included. Airbases and naval ports geo-located. Indo-Pacific countries each have a side. Reinforcements have not been added (this is the current inventory), though I may add a timeline in future. Squadron numbers are assigned to all aircraft in order to ensure accuracy and dates. Some airports are duplicated near each other to show foreign aircraft at host airbases e.g. usaf aircraft at japanese airbases. Loadouts are generic. Some current ISR aircraft and common warships are deployed from various countries. All Chinese and other Indo-Pacific fighter / attack / support squadrons included. Major capital ships, large naval bases, aircraft and key sam systems located where possible. Taiwan orbat included. To reduce clutter simply delete any side under the editor by add/edit sides / remove. Updates and corrections welcome! a work in progress. Some database limits required aircraft substitution with the closest available and are marked accordingly.
