Super Six 2022

SUPER SIX 2022 This scenario follows the events of the 2022 series, and chronologically occurs several weeks after the scenario "Littoral Warfare". Although both scenarios are stand-alone content and designed to be played separately without a problem, feel free to play Littoral Warfare first if you haven't yet for more context on the conflict of "Super-Six". The 90’s, 2000’s, and 2010’s saw an absolutely monumental rise in international military spending, limited and general conflicts, terrorism, and overall insurgency and chaos in the world order. With an increasingly belligerent Soviet Union, and ever-strengthening and chaotic China, a seemingly endless worldwide terrorist network, and local and worldwide civilian unrest, the United States military saw the biggest increase in spending of its entire lifetime. At one point, the military budget was 15% of the national GDP, and with a multitude of targets, foes, and goals, the department of defense swelled in size and flourished in capability and effectiveness. One of the directives at the turn of the century was the standardization of United States air force and Naval bases throughout the world. Several dozen airbases and ports were built throughout the world in over half of the countries of the planet, and a colossal information and logistics network was set up to provide for this new increased world-wide reach. All airbases followed a framework of design, and different sized-airfields and airbases had different designations: Love (light), Major (Medium), and Hornet (Heavy), based on the size of the air bases and their capabilities for air operations. The largest of these, designated Super (Super Heavy), were goliath military installations with four extra-large sized runways and a myriad of shelters, bunkers, and command buildings.
