Double Tap 2022 <PACK ONE FINALE>

DOUBLE TAP 2022 After a successful first wave attack, NATO and its allies prepare to send the next, and hopefully decisive, attack wave into soviet Turkey. The coalition hopes to cut off Turkey from aerial or land-based reinforcements by finishing off the present Soviet air forces and damaging the critical defensive and operational infrastructure in the country. A massive American strategic bomber air fleet is assembled in Italy to carry out the attack, and the combined forces of no less than four other countries have aircraft at the ready to punch a hole for the bombers to get through. The Soviets reinforce the area with a meager amount of aircraft and air defenses; the Chinese offensive in the far East is a bloodbath that requires the most attention and reinforcement priority. With NATO air power also making headstrong progress over Europe, the Mediterranean front is all but abandoned. The last remaining Soviet aircraft carrier is in position in the Black Sea with a thin escort, in the hopes of tipping the balance a little more in their favor by committing its fighter complement... ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- - This is the final scenario of the "2022 Pack 1" series. Congratulations for making it this far! This scenario offers a badly beaten yet still dangerous opponent, with a myriad of targets, possibilities and strike packages. Enjoy! - As in the last scenario, only relevant aircraft and surface ships are present to reduce clutter.
