Suez Crisis 2022

SUEZ CRISIS 2022 This scenario is meant to be played immediately after "Last Stand" Egypt knew their long-hated rivals would stop at nothing to collect the debt owed after decades of animosity, hostility and covert and overt military action. No longer under the protection of the Red Bear, the Egyptian leadership found themselves seemingly out of options and decided to risk it all with all the offensive firepower they could muster. The result was not good. In fact, it was nothing short of catastrophic; hundreds of aircraft and men were lost, and virtually their entire navy destroyed. To make matters worse, utilizing WMD's turned out to be a grave miscalculation; not one nuclear warhead had gotten through Israel's defenses, and the Egyptians had several airfields and a pair of ports destroyed by nuclear fire. The coalition fleet had taken casualties but was still combat-capable and heading toward their coast. The Israeli air force had been bloodied, but most of their losses were from reserve and older-modeled aircraft; most of the high-end F-15's, F-16's and, most importantly, F-35's were still operational. With Israeli mechanized and armored formations on the way to Said, Egypt was staring at defeat, and possibly complete annihilation. Egypt's core air defense system remained largely intact, with several operational S-300 batteries at the ready. In an act of desperation, the Egyptians have begun targeting Israeli cities to try and deal as much damage as possible to their long-standing enemy before their annihilation. The race was on to finish off the Egyptians, and both the Israelis and European forces need to do so as quickly and with as few casualties as possible, to ensure more assets available for the real fight against the Soviets... ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Time will be your enemy more than the Egyptians
