📋 About This Mod
WHAT IT DOES
Gives you a gigantic map size (9000 hexes) that's even bigger than huge (6996 hexes). It defaults to 16 major civilizations, to keep the density roughly the same as Huge, but it should provide enough space on a Pangea or Inland Sea map to fit all 19 civs that the game launched with.
Be warned though that more hexes, more civs, more city states, more units, more of everything, WILL make the turns even slower. If your computer was trying your patience on Huge, well, this won't be any faster. You have been warned.
Needless to say, you can tweak it to produce your own favourite map size by just changing the height and width in the .xml file.
HOW TO GET IT
Just start a new game and choose "Gigantic" from the map size drop-down.
HOW TO INSTALL IT
Open the downloaded zip file and drag the GiganticMap folder into your Documents/My Games/Sid Meier's Civilization VI/Mods" folder.
It will auto-activate itself when you start the game, but it does nothing unless you actually start a game using this size. So it shouldn't bother you otherwise. Plus, you can always turn it on or off from Additional Content.
HOW TO UNINSTALL IT
Delete the GiganticMap folder from your Mods folder.
