What this mod does

Whenever Jimmy lands a knockout, executes a grapple finisher, or performs a humiliation, the camera cuts away from the standard third-person view and places itself like a film director would: off to one side, framing both Jimmy and his victim, with a slight orbit, a gentle bob and custom FOV.

Features:

The cinematic camera activates automatically on three types of events:

• []Knockouts - any KO animation, including front, rear, on-ground, and projectile[/]

  []Grapple finishers - mount attacks and ground grapple moves[/]

  []Humiliations - the full humiliation move set[/]

  Each can be toggled independently in the INI file.

  Framerate-independent smoothing

  Camera position and look-at point use exponential smoothing

  1 - exp(-dt/tau) rather than fixed-alpha lerp, meaning the camera motion feels identical at any framerate. Distance smoothing uses the same approach to prevent the camera snapping when fighters close in or back off.

  Organic motion

  A slow sinusoidal orbit and vertical bob are applied to the camera position at all times, giving the shot the slightly unstable quality of a handheld film camera rather than a locked tripod. Amplitude and speed are tunable.

  Smart side selection

  The camera automatically picks which side to sit on based on Jimmy's facing direction relative to the target, using a cross-product calculation with a configurable deadzone to prevent jitter when the two are nearly aligned. You can also force it to always sit left or right.
