In addition it is not very intuitive on how to start, look at the user manual in the description for futher info. | Vehicle History | The Kongsmetall Dieseltraktor 1928 is a diesel tractor that has an impressive 1 cylinder hot bulb engine with 10. 3 liters of displacement. It was first built in 1928 as the need for fossil fuel tractors saw increasing demand in Norway, but importing the Lanz Bulldog and similar tractors was costly. Therefore the Kongsmetall Motor Company proposed a design featuring a linsence produced version of the modernized Hornsby-Akroyd engine, the same engine used in the Lanz Bulldog. At full rpm which was around 430 in gear, it produced roughly 40 horsepower yet 600 NM of torque. Considering the high gearing of the DT28, this made it a powerhouse and a great machine for towing heavy equipment at a smaller size. It was in fact around 30% smaller than the bulldog which was a double edged sword as there was only room for 1 person on the tractor, even with a cab design. It came with a 3 point hitch which proved very useful and effective. Overall the DT28 was a massive success in the nordic countries with it being much cheaper than any other viable alternative. Its official production ended in 1954 when the hot bulb design had gotten severely outdated, but it remained a scandinavian farm staple until the early 90's. | OFFICIAL USER MANUAL | Step 1.
