FasterLongbow makes Longbow grenades in Borderlands 3 faster, more responsive and closer to Borderlands 2 by accelerating the grenade throw animation and shortening the delay before the Longbow teleport happens.

The mod keeps Borderlands 3's native grenade behavior and applies its timing changes only when the equipped grenade uses Longbow delivery, so other grenade delivery types are not affected.

INSTALLATION

1. Intstall latest BL-SDK / Oak Mod Manager

https://github.com/bl-sdk/oak-mod-manager/releases/latest

2. Download the main mod archive from the Files tab.

3. Extract FasterLongbow.sdkmod from the downloaded archive.

4. Copy FasterLongbow.sdkmod to:

Borderlands 3\sdk_mods\

5. Do not extract FasterLongbow.sdkmod itself.

6. Start Borderlands 3.

7. Open the PythonSDK / Mods menu.

8. Enable FasterLongbow.

9. Open the FasterLongbow settings and adjust the timing values if desired.

Updating FasterLongbow:

1. Fully close Borderlands 3.

2. Download the latest version of FasterLongbow.

3. Replace the existing FasterLongbow.sdkmod in:

Borderlands 3\sdk_mods\

with the new file.

4. Do not extract the .sdkmod file.

5. Start Borderlands 3 again.

The default values are the tested release settings and normally do not need to be changed.

Available ranges:

Longbow Teleport Delay: 0. 11 - 0. 50 s

Divider Longbow Teleport Delay: 0. 05 - 0. 60 s

Longbow Teleport Delay cannot be set below 0. 11 seconds through the mod settings.

The same minimum is also enforced at runtime if a lower value is inserted manually into the settings file.

COMPATIBILITY

The mod does not replace grenade delivery behavior or modify other grenade delivery types.

Longbow delivery timing changes apply only when the equipped grenade uses Longbow delivery.

The current throw-animation acceleration targets the tested FL4K / Beastmaster grenade animation assets.

Longbow delivery timing itself is not limited to FL4K.
