Enhanced Controls

Purpose:

Moves the sprint action from circle to X. Adds Jump on L3.

Keeps rolling/dodging on circle. This reduces input lag, since the game does not have to check for sprint input before letting you dodge.

Pressing circle while stationary on a ladder will also make you drop from the ladder.

Adds jump attack shortcut. Hold L3 and press R1 to perform a jump attack. This does not interfere with vanilla jump attack combo and can be done while sprinting.

This mod is heavily inspired by and builds upon N3R4i's  Jump on L3 and  NuttsnBolts's Quality Controller Binds and would not have been possible without their work. Please check out their great work!

There are multiple versions of the mod depending on which framerate you play at. This is because of the jump attack functionality of the mod, where the game has to check how many frames you have held down L3 before allowing the R1 jump attack input. Choose the version that best matches your framerate. If there is a big mismatch between game framerate and mod version framerate, you might have trouble executing a normal jump with L3 or you might have to hold L3 down longer if you wanna do a jump attack.

Installation instructions:

Copy files to dvdroot_ps4 or activate with a mod manager.

I highly recommend using a mod manager.

File structure should look like this:
