Letters from Malta

Malta has finaly fallen, and Scharnhorst has been relocated at this strategic position in the middle of Mediterranea. But the British won't remain inactive: as Novembre 1942 begins, Royal Navy has sudenly ramped up her activity, as if some big operation was preparing... Anchored in a remote bay in the Northern part of the island, Scharnhorst is sent on the hunt, taking advantage of the bad weather and low visibility to surprise her preys. Using informations given by Abwehr and Supermarina (intelligence division of Regia Marina), you will chose your hunting zone, estimate target position and plan your interception route. But don't be too late, or your prey might escape to a position protected by the mighty guns of Force H, Mediterranean Fleet... or an even more formidable force. Features: -Fixed weather; strong winds, very cloudy, poor visibility. -Dynamic traffic -Main task forces apparitions are not scripted, they have a fixed schedule within the mission. A few minor encouters are scripted though. Known issue: when loading a save during mission, all the positions of AI ships get reset to thei original spawning point, which means intel about positions are wrong. Dev is aware, investigating the matter.
