The Ghost of the Skagerrak

December 1944. The war is entering its final, desperate winter. Cut off from fuel supplies in Norway, the Scharnhorst is the lone surviving German capital ship in the northern theater. Your orders are clear but dangerous: break through the tightening Allied blockade in the North Sea, fight your way through the Skagerrak strait and the sea of Kattegat, and make a dash for the safety of Kiel. A winter storm has given you the perfect cover, throwing off enemy air support, but the Royal Navy has deployed a patrol line directly in your path. You start high in the Norwegian Sea at full steam. Ahead of you lies a light cruiser scouting vanguard; behind them, a heavy battleship waits to cut you off.
