Nolan and Bale's 'Batman Begins' (2005) - ReShade

"Batman Begins" is probably my favorite live-action Batman movie.

I love how practical, tangible, classy, and romantically heroic it is.

It's about what I consider to be the most selfless version of Bruce Wayne we've seen in the various adaptations. His goal is to create a myth to scare the mob off of Gotham and let the good people in the city know that someone is looking out for them. But for that to work, you gotta make Gotham look like a scary place, and the movie is very capable of doing that.

That's what I attempted to do with this ReShade.

The idea was to replicate the dark, but somewhat warm look of the movie.

It's a movie that makes you see how ugly this reality can get, but at the same time, you know that there's a dark knight there to save you.

Now, I'm not Christopher Nolan/Wally Pfister, but I get the vibe of the movie while playing with this-- and I hope you do too.

(Remember to download ReShade to use this mod! It won't work if you just put it into the DLC folder where you add other stuff like suits and such).
