The Batman 2022 (New Suit Slot)

My friend Luisv_1119 was kind enough to update the mod for me despite my laziness. It now has a shadow and is properly integrated as it's own slot without having any duplication. Big thanks to him!

I decided to improve on the cowl a bit and give it some more detail. Mainly just making it look a bit more leathery.

A variant for a Younger looking face is now available as well. The textures of which were provided by CaptainJack, he did a great job so big thanks to him and make sure to check out some of his stuff.

Anyway that's all for this update, not really any huge changes.

So lots and lots of changes this time around. The diffuse textures now are bit higher quality with some darkening, a little bit of other adjustments here and there. They were originally made by SiRME. He baked on some AO and did some other things to them. I changed the symbol to have scratches and edited the symbols refnrough to be more similar to the movie. The also made the micronormals (scratches) on the chest much more prominent. The normals for the symbol are also much better, courtesy of SiRME once again, dude is awesome.

The changes I'm probably most happy about of course is the cape. I changed it's shading quite a bit and edited the normals to include the folds at the front like the movie. The RefnRoughs also were changed and then the mic was edited some. I also gave it a leather microbump which really adds a cool look to it.

The hotfix is also now included with the main file so no need to install that anymore.

So a backstory of how I acquired this suit.

A few days ago Arkham Knight suddenly updated on EGS, it included some small changes to files and strangely The Batman 2022 suit.  The suit is heavily unpolished with very lackluster materials or even accuracy to the movie. I got the UPK's from Wastelander121 and the main Textures.tfc file from ItzBalaz. I then injected all the textures so we could use and still have the suit. I posted it on discord where it inevitably got spread around.

Being that I wasn't very happy with the materials I changed quite a few things about the suit.

I edited the RefNRoughs quite extensively along with the brightnesses and micro-normals. My favorite change I made has to be the cape. Originally the cape is just the 70s mesh except with the front pulled down and separated and the back top part pulled closer together. The rest were all exactly the same as the 70s suit apart from the diffuse and walking normals being slightly different. The glide normals are now replaced with the same one as the origins suit and a custom cape mask I made. I also changed the walking cape length to be around the same height as it was within the movie.
