ROT Marriage Fix

If, while playing the Realm of Thrones mod, you’ve encountered the issue where members of your clan don’t appear in dialogues as marriage candidates, and you experience a crash with the marriage proposal popup, this mod can help.

Problem:

The ROT mod performs an additional check for marriage candidates, but it only bypasses this check for the player. Children pass the check further, but cannot pass the “relation to a great house” check, because the player’s clan is not considered a great house according to the mod’s logic. As a result, children are constantly ignored and don’t appear in dialogues.

The popup uses a different check, so the marriage proposal appears, but it seems that after confirming and running the cutscene, the game crashes due to the ROT check.

Fixing the addition of children to dialogues also resolves the popup crash.

Solution:

This mod bypasses the ROT checks not only for the player but also for members of their clan.

It’s possible that newer versions of ROT may fix this issue.

Compatibility with existing saves:

There should be no issues. The fix works at runtime and doesn’t save any data.
