Muh Banner

Put your own images on your clan banner, layered with sigils, right inside the banner editor.

What it does

Muh Banner lets you import your own PNG images and use them as part of your clan banner. Images are real layers: stack several of them, put sigils in front of or behind them, and mix them with the game's backgrounds and colours. Your banner shows up everywhere the game draws banners: map party flags, shields, battle standards, settlement flags, the clan screen, the encyclopedia and nameplates.

Everything happens in the normal banner editor. Press B on the campaign map, or reach the banner step of character creation, and the Banner Layers panel is there. No town menus, no separate screens.

  []Copy / Paste banner codes (Ctrl+C / Ctrl+V): exports standard codes that work with bannerlord.party and other players; pasting a code keeps your image layers[/]

  []Kingdom banner follows your clan when you rule a kingdom[/]

  []Live preview of the flag and the small icon, with the selected image outlined[/]

  How to use

  • []Install and enable Muh Banner (and Harmony). You may need to unblock the dll[/]

    []Open the banner editor (press B) and click Open Folder, or go to:

    Documents\Mount and Blade II Bannerlord\Configs\MuhBanner\Import[/]

    []Drop in PNG files, click Refresh, then click an image to use it.[/]

    []Use Add Image to add more layers, and arrange them in the layer list.[/]

    []Press Done. That's it.[/]

  Imported images are copied into Muh Banner's own image store, so you can delete or rename your originals without breaking your banner.

  Safe to install and remove

  • []Your image choice is stored inside the banner itself, so it saves with your game. Nothing is added to your save files.[/]

    []If you remove the mod, your banner simply shows its normal background and sigils. No crashes, no broken saves.[/]

    []Only a few small, targeted patches, all applied after the game has started. No global texture hacks.[/]

      Compatibility

      • []Banner Editor: compatible. Muh Banner's panel appears alongside its layer editor.[/]

        []Banner Painter: not compatible. Please disable it; Muh Banner replaces it.[/]

        []Overhauls with their own sigils and backgrounds (Europe 1100, TAOM, Realm of Thrones…): their art is read automatically.[/]
