Stop Yelling Please

Made for Patch 8 - Hotfix 31, and the BG3 July Modathon 2025!

Some of the ambient audio tracks in Act 3 contain a lot of yelling and crowd noise. This mod changes that! Now you won't have to worry about random people yelling at you from the ambient audio everywhere in Act 3, because this mod mutes those audio tracks.

How It Works:

This mod replaces a majority of the yelling/chattering ambient audio tracks in Act 3 with silent .wem files. No other audio but the yelling/chattering should be affected, so the rest of the ambient audio mix will still be there!

I've provided 5 versions of the mod that mute audio files in different areas of the game. Each version comes in PAK or loose file format.

Stop Yelling Please (Main Version):

Mutes a lot of the yelling audio across Act 3! The ambient chatter/yelling audio from the Elfsong Tavern and the Circus of the Last Days have been separated out into different versions, but this should cover most other areas of Act 3. Let me know if I missed anything!

This version replaces the following audio tracks with silent .wem files:

Mutes the ambient chattering in the Elfsong Tavern. (Might also mute the chattering in other indoor areas, but I'm not totally sure if this file is used elsewhere.)

This version replaces the following audio track with a silent .wem file:

Stop Yelling Please - Circus of the Last Days:

Mutes the ambient yelling audio in the Circus of the Last Days area. (I thought the yelling here made sense, so I wanted it to be separate from the main version of the mod.)
