📋 About This Mod
This mod implements level 13-20 for all of the base game's classes and some of their subclasses for 2014 primarily. Includes configurable options, such as class optional features, changing XP rates to allow expanding the level cap beyond 20
Update 1. 6. 0. 0
As of this update, I've incorporated Epic Boons from Dungeons and Dragon's 5e Edition into the mod, as well as expanded the level range of the mod to allow leveling beyond 21, though it's technically limited currently until the next script extender update. Please refer to the Levels and XP and Epic Boons sections under Configuration for additional details.
Update 1. 2. 0. 0
With this update, the mod has been incorporated into the Mod Configuration Menu (MCM) mod. Please refer to its page for instructions on how to navigate and use it for this mod's configurable features if you aren't already using the mod.
Additionally, the Bladesinger subclass was removed from the base mod with patch 8's release of the subclass but a standalone version of the subclass is still listed as a separate mod.
Finally returning to something of its original purpose with the 1. 0. 0. 0 release, this mod serves to establish progressions from level 13 to 20 for all base classes and some of the subclasses (the remainder I'll get to over time as I complete other projects). Any mod that specifically accounts for Unlock Level Curve, as far as it's class progression UUIDs are concerned, this mod shares those same UUIDs for the sake of compatibility but it isn't advised you use both mods despite their similarities. Spells above 6th level, such as from my 5e Spells mod or Advanced Tabletop Spells, will be included in spellcasting classes if they are loaded. If the former isn't loaded, the 7th+ spell lists will simply contain the 1st to 6th level base game spells but you'll gain the level 7-9 upcast versions of base game spells still.
This mod is for 2014 predominately. It contains some 2024 features for subclasses whose capstones aren't really doable in BG3 at all but that's the only extent 2024 content will be in this mod at all whatsoever.
The mod also includes many of the Optional Features for the classes that were introduced in the Tasha's Cauldron of Everything book for DnD 5th edition. However, those options are literally optional due to the ability to configure precisely what is desired in addition to a selection of other options through the use of the Script Extender, which is required to support them.
Lastly, this mod includes the Wizard's Bladesinger subclass as a standalone mod and is separate from Larian's as was the case before Patch 8 and goes back to Early Access. Please read the Wizard article for information about the Bladesinger implementation and issues pertaining to it.
As a warning, you should not be adding the mod to an existing playthrough while at level 12 nor should you adjust any XP values during an existing playthrough or you could run into issues.
Configuration
Within the Mod Configuration Menu are the various configurable options provided by this mod. Each section contains options that deal with Optional Features, XP Rates, Feats and Miscellaneous. You can change many from true to false or vice versa or even leave them blank (which will default to being false) or for the XP rates, plug in certain numbers. Please note however - most of the features will not immediately appear while in the game and require restarting the game for their changes to take place until a fix is provided through the script extender for those particular issues.
Alternatively, you can modify the settings in the settings.json file using a text-based editor, such as Notepad++ or Visual Studio Code, and is located at the following folder path: AppData\Local\Larian Studios\Baldur's Gate 3\Script Extender\BG3MCM\Profiles\Default\Expansion.
Optional Features
By default, these are set to enabled. By disabling them, it will prevent the given optional features of a specific class from being added to the classes progressions or modifying anything applicable to them as will be covered in the Available Features section below.
Levels and XP
By default, these values, from level 1-12, is the same as the base game while level 13-20 are values based on DnD's experience table. Adjust them as desired for your playthrough or refer to my github (please don't submit pull requests without talking to me first) for various XP rates that include 75% of the base game's XP needed to level up, 50%, 25% and more. Additionally, there is also a Max Level option can be changed to level 12 like the base game for those that don't want the e
