Elven Weaponry - Needle of the Outlaw Rogue

This mod was originally part of Elven Weaponry Daggers. I decided to separate as an optional file for people using other Needle replacer or that just don't want to change it. Then I think it would be cool to add an upgrade tier for it... and ends in making all four rarity tiers and a new set of custom actions. So finally I make it as a separate mod, as just an optional file won't eclipse the whole daggers mod.

Description

The common Needle you'll find in the camp chest will gain all the common stats of Elven Daggers (Refer to the Elven Weaponry - Daggers mod for it). This also means it will count as an Elven Dagger for Drow Rapiers and Elven Blades interactions.

You can upgrade the Needle to every rarity tier, adding new abilities to it. Refer to the Progresion table on the screenshots for it.

For each upgrade you'll need Elven Blood Oil. It comes in four rarity tiers and every one will upgrade the Needle to the same tier of the oil.

Every oil will upgrade the Needle to its tier, no matter what is the tier of the Needle. That means that installing the mod mid game, you don't need to worry about lower tier oils no longer available. (For example, Rare Oil will create a Rare Needle from both, Uncommon and Common Needle).

You'll find the different oils for trade at different merchants on the game. That means that the Needle progresion will be tight to your game progress. The oils are unique so they won't clutter traders inventories and will be consume for upgrade the Needle. Remember that you may need to take a long rest for merchants inventories to restock.

The Oils can be located at:

-Common: Sold by Derryth Bonecloak on the Myconid Colony (Act I).

-Rare: Lady Esther on the Rosymorn Monastery Trail (Act I).

-Very Rare: Sold by Araj Oblodra on Moonrise Towers (Act II).

-Legendary: Stylin' Horst on The Velveteen Elixir in Wyrm's Crossing (Act III).

Alternatively, If you don't want to bother with progression and want high tiers asap. You can use the Elven Smithing Kit to upgrade the Needle. Every use will upgrade the Needle by one tier. Also using it on the Legendary Needle will return the common one, in case it's needed for debugging anything.

Compatibility

It should be obvious but this mod will be incompatible with other mods changing the Needle.

If you want to use a mod that changes all Deluxe items but want my changes for the Needle, load this mod after it.
