📋 About This Mod

This is a homebrew subclass inspired by the Abomination from Darkest Dungeon. You can use your bonus action to transform into a Minotaur. In human form, you unlock a spell called Beast's Bile and a cantrip called Backlash.

Disclaimer: Minotaurs aren't meant to be in cutscenes. If you trigger a cutscene while you're a Minotaur, you're probably going to be spinning around and clipping through walls and floors. I would recommend dismissing the form while you're outside of combat, not using this as your main, or just skipping the cutscenes.

Level 2.

Beast's Bile: This spell is always prepared. It's similar to burning hands, but it deals Acid Damage and causes the Caustic Brine condition for a number of turns equal to the spells level on a failed Dexterity Saving Throw.

Backlash: Always prepared. Similar to Thorn Whip, but it does 1d10 damage and knocks your target back 3m on a hit.

Transform: Use a Bonus Action and Wildshape Charge to transform into an Abomination. When you transform, every creature within a 3m radius must make a Wisdom Saving Throw against your Spell Save DC, or receive the Frightened/Fleeing condition for one turn. From Levels One through Five, your stats follow the Wildshape - Polar Bear Scaling. From Level Six through 12, they follow the Wildshape - Owlbear Scaling.

Gore is going to be your main attack. Pushes your target back 3m on a failed Strength Save against your Spell Save DC.

You can also Charge once per combat. 9m radius, knocks your target prone on a failed Strength Save against your Spell Save DC. Doesn't count against your movement.

When you lose or dismiss your Abomination Wildshape, you can cast Beast's Bile using a bonus action and without expending a spell slot for ten turns starting on your next turn.

Level 6.

Rage: Once per combat while in your Abomination Form, you can use your bonus action to rage for five turns. Strength and Constitution increase by 2, and you gain temporary hit points equal to your Druid Level + Wisdom Modifier. When you enter your rage, all creatures within 3m must make a Wisdom Saving Throw or receive the Frightened/Fleeing condition for one turn. At level 10, the duration increases to 7 turns, and at level 12, it increases to 10 turns.

Your Gore and Charge attacks deal additional damage and cause the Gaping Wounds condition for two turns on a hit.

Primal Strike: You also gain Primal Strike at level 6. While in beast form, your attacks count as magical for the purpose of overcoming Resistance and Immunity to non-magical damage.

After Level 6, your Abomination form will continue to scale with the Wildshape-Owlbear.
